Leonardo da Vinci K-8 School is a community dedicated to the development of the whole child as a curious and inventive person, responsible for preserving and creating beauty in our cultural and natural environments.
We will foster this Renaissance child of the Arts and Sciences through Integrated Thematic Instruction.

I am delighted to be part of the LdV team as Assistant Principal. I am an educator with many years of experience serving the students and community in the Sacramento City Unified School District. My background includes several years working as an 8th-grade GATE Language Arts and US History teacher, curriculum leader, member of the school leadership team, school site council president, grant writer, safety team chairperson, and student activities director. I was honored to be selected as Sacramento City Unified School District’s Teacher of the Year in 2012.
I am excited to be a member of such a thriving school community, one that focuses on developing the whole child as a curious and inventive person, responsible for preserving and creating beauty in our cultural and natural environments.
